Here is my new take on the sinking of the SS Titan from "Futility, or Wreck of the Titan."
Yes, I know that the book has a lot of similarities between the SS Titan and the RMS Titanic. Some are uncanny, such as having almost the same tonnage and size (at least before the 1912 reissue). Not to mention that both sunk on an April night by colliding with an iceberg in the North Atlantic.
