In this session we will explore the statement of purpose (SoP) for graduate school applications and the personal statement (PS) for medical and law school applications. Our focus will be on understanding what writers are expected to write about in the SoP and PS; we will then move into guided brainstorming so attendees can start reflecting on their own relevant experiences and motivation for continued education.
