Aiyana Clemens Weather Reel 2026

Hey everyone,

Here is a little about me and my passion to be a broadcast meteorologist!
As a senior undergraduate student pursuing my education in Meteorology at Florida State University, I aspire to become a Broadcast Meteorologist after I graduate in the spring. Currently, I am an active member of the AMS, as well as this year’s team leader for the Florida State University Weather Broadcasting Club. After years of challenging classes like calculus, physics, dynamics, and computational courses, I was able not only to learn the fundamentals of weather, but I also achieved the Dean’s List for two years of my education.

This past year, I have had two internships at Local 10 News (WPLG) in Miami, as well as WINK News in Fort Myers. I learned so much about the newsroom, forecasting, composing MAX graphics, and practicing weather hits by working with so many talented meteorologists. Additionally, I job shadowed at WKRN in Nashville and CBS News in Chicago to learn more about WSI, Baron, and new styles of forecasting. This summer, I have taken my content from my internships and built an online presence on social media platforms. My goal with this is to help people continue to feel entertained, connected, and engaged with my daily life as a broadcaster.

Outside of school, I am a fashion model represented by Caroline Geason Management in Miami, as well as Stewart Talent in Chicago. Being a model has allowed me to grow and become more comfortable in front of the camera, which I have found very beneficial for my future. Previously, I completed the first two years of my education at Iowa State University, where I pursued sports as a Division I athlete for the Cheerleading Team and Spirit Squad. This taught me work ethic and confidence that I can bring into my future as a Broadcast Meteorologist.

Overall, I am beyond excited to enter the workforce and grow as I move forward in my career. Enjoy my reel!
