The people at Perka were wonderful to work with, and we really like this style of construction. It takes the strengths of a steel building, such as large clear spans, and pairs them with the ease, and usually cost effectiveness of working with wood. Also, their truss system allows them to be extremely cost competitive vs traditional heavy beam steel buildings. Using less steel they can make very strong structures using their truss system, saving you cost/pound of steel, which was very important in 2020.
Overall I would recommend Perka buidlings, especially in the ag sector. They are happy to work with you about insulating and finishing the interior of your structure, but the cost effectiveness and speed with which this building went up is truly impressive. It is also engineered and warrantied for our snow and wind load. Overall, I would definitely work with them again, in fact, I have a few more structures in the planning stage that might likely be Perkas.
