Jackson Ultima Mark 1 base level stainless blades. Fine stone worked poorly; thought is was a medium stone. lol.Got acceptable sharpening with a Medium grit stone. A new stone is 3 inches in diameter. The one used was half gone and 62mm in Diameter; approx 2.5 inches. The 60 Hertz Baldor Induction motor was run at 75 Hertz. So the RPM was 25 percent higher for the smaller disc used. This helped somewhat with griinding this base level starter Mark 1 blade.
Blades are 0.135 inch thick about 3.4 mm .
The Radius of Hollow used was 1/2 inch ie 12.7mm
A Special Engineering motor testing sine wave Inverter was used.
These blades factory cut were sort of sharp but not 90 degrees to the blades body. This sort of issue happens in moderate priced consumer items.
Lower grades of Stainless are less hard and machining is more difficult. With Stainless you often need a coarser grind wheel like the Chart shows.
