A very bittersweet scene 😭 Poor Aleu

The order of adoption and the adopters, if it's of any use:
1. Dingo: A young boy
unrelated but as the kid holding him walked away, he said that he'll still be able to play with Jenna, which is SO cute! I'm glad Jenna will be able to see him regularly.

2. The red-faced puppy (often called "Kiona" by fans): A young girl
3/4. Saba (assumed) and the red-blaze puppy (often called "Yukon" or "Nunivat" by fans): two siblings - a boy for Saba (though Kiona is mistakenly shown) and a girl for Yukon

^ I think these last three pups were adopted by a group of THREE siblings (perhaps triplets?), considering how the shot at 1:36 is framed (assuming it's not one of the movie's many errors - the way the transition happened beforehand implies that some time passed since Kiona's adoption and Saba/Yukon's adoption. I guess we'll never know 🫠). that parent is bouta have some regrets lmao

5. Kodi (assumed, since the last puppy's eyes are never shown to be blue like Saba's): Adopted by a boy initially, but he ended up on a mail sled-dog team somehow as an adult. Either the sledder is the dad of the boy who took Kodi, or Kodi was sold again, or what.
