Relayer by Yes - Documentary and Analysis - The Classic Prog. Rock Albums

Yes released 'Relayer' in November 1974. In this documentary I give some history on the making of this classic prog. album and some interesting insights into aspects of the songs which appear. You may recall that this is the only album keyboardist Patrick Moraz recorded with Yes. The album is a sonic extravaganza and one of the bands most complex albums. It also marked Yes’s last truly fearless prog-rock excursion.

I show video footage from the 'Yes: Live – 1975 at Q.P.R.' video release of a 1975 concert by the group at Queens Park Rangers' Loftus Road stadium in England, which has been synchronized to better (live) audio.

Incidentally, Brian Lane (Yes's manager at the time), did arrange for a professional filming of the 'Relayer' Tour, but was deemed to be 'too dark' for a professional release.
