Vajo delle Caure. Piccole Dolomiti, Gruppo Carega (alpinismo PD+)

Percorso: partenza dal PK sotto il rifugio Campogrosso (Recoaro Terme - VI), quota 1.456 m. Sentiero 157 per circa 30 min, a quota 1.580 m si svolta a sx in direzione Prà degli Angeli. A quota 1.780 m si continua dritto e si imbocca il Vajo delle Caure. Dopo poco piega sulla destra. Pendenza sui 45/50° (PD). Facciamo una variante, il ripido canalino sulla sinistra, con 3 salti di roccia. Poi ci ricongiungiamo al Vajo, con pendenza finale di 55°, fino ad incrociare il Vajo Invisibile. Breve traverso, altri 20 m di salita, e raggiungiamo la cresta dell’Obante a 2.040 m. Visita di alcune postazioni della grande guerra, poi da Bocchetta Fondi scendiamo il Boale dei Fondi. Incrociamo il sentiero 157 che a ritroso chiude l’anello
Distanza: 8,1 km. Dislivello: 750 m, da 1.410 m a 2.050 m
Livello: il Vajo delle Caure è classificato PD, la variante PD+ (AD-?). Quel giorno la neve era abbastanza compatta, limitata la presenza di ghiaccio
Equipaggiamento: ramponi, 2 piccozze, casco. Non ci siamo assicurati, ma consigliato avere l’attrezzatura

We cross path 157 which backwards closes the ring
