Balintawak Cloverleaf Interchange (Quezon City)
This is the starting point of NLEX northbound. It connects to EDSA and A. Bonifacio Avenue, serving as a major gateway from Metro Manila to Central and Northern Luzon.
Valenzuela City
The expressway passes through dense urban areas. The Mindanao Avenue Link and Harbor Link Interchange provide alternate routes to the port area and northern Metro Manila.
Bulacan Segment
NLEX continues through Marilao, Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto, and Pulilan. These exits serve residential communities, industrial zones, and provincial roads.
Candaba Viaduct
A long elevated bridge crossing wetlands between Bulacan and Pampanga. It’s a key structural feature of the expressway.
San Fernando Exit (Pampanga)
This marks the end of the segment. It’s a major access point to the city of San Fernando and nearby areas like Angeles and Clark.
