Hopefully this answers a lot of questions. This is real world numbers of what your high millage SBC Vortec can do with minimal bolt on modifications. This motor has 230,000 miles on it with:
1.) Hooker long tube headers
2.) 2.5 true dual exhaust with strait through Flowmaster FX mufflers
3.) Volent cold air intake
4.) And NBS electric fan swap.
5.) MSD 6AL-2 Box
6.) 0411 PCM Swap
All this done with the help of Dean Nickerson over at Nickerson Performance. Been wanting to do this for a while. Next visit will be after a whole lot of other modifications.
