Neon & Pixel DSH Cats in 2025

Neon and Pixel were 14 on 23 Jan 2025. They are Domestic Short Hair (DSH) cats. I have spent close to £6,000 on them in the past two to three years at the two vets I go to.

This was to be the final year for Neon. He had a liver infection in Sept 2024 and I think that caused damage. He had a tumour develop that the vet discovered Feb 2025. Neon returned to the vets regularly after that. A scan and bloods etc did not show cancer (although it may have been). It was not a Gaul Bladder stone. But the growth got larger and took all of his energy. He was very hungry but not in pain. He never vomited, or was sick. In fact he was a fighter. The vet was amazed how strong he was. He always purred and was happy with his life. Even in the vets of his final day he was purring as he fell asleep in my arms. Pixel is his usual self and the two brothers are amazing cats. I am so honoured to have spent my life with them. They had a quiet household the past 4 years with just me. They can come and go as they please and get all the food they want plus warmth and company.

No music as I just want the pure sounds for me and my family to enjoy of the cats.
