Before I Forget Gameplay (no commentary)

Before I Forget is a walking simulator where we explore the experience of a successful scientist who is having symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. From the eyes of Sunita Appelby, the gamer is consciously guided through memory loss and return, in a brief, simple, and yet intense play.
This is one of those video games with a story that deserves to be told.

I personally have a special person whose father suffered from this disease. I never met him, but the family told me a lot of stories about him and his last years before his memory was completely lost. I played this game thinking about that.
I hope that person - who is definitely not a gamer and sometimes teases me about this hobby of mine - will see how video games are more than fiction and mere entertainment.

Technical note: I started playing in a 21:9 ratio, but this raises a problem when interacting with some items, so I had to restart the game and move to another ratio after a while.
I recommend playing this game in 16:9 even if you have an ultra-wide format screen.
