**Hey Guys!**
Today I wanna tell you guys about my MCTD!
It is part of me and its something that I live with everyday and will live with the rest of my life! This is just another reason I will never be normal or try to be normal.
I have been living with Mixed connective tissue disease my whole life! Mixed connective tissue disease is a term that doctors used to describe a disorder characterized by features of systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, and polymyositis. Raynaud phenomenon, joint pains, various skin abnormalities, muscle weakness, and problems with internal organs can develop.
This is an autoimmune disease, which means that my body attacks itself which causes my flare ups and other issues to arise. like I said in the video, you would never know from looking at me that I have this disease. I live quiet a normal life with this other than learning to deal with my symptoms and flare ups. There is no cure for this disease, just medication to help you manage pain and other symptoms that occur.
I dont like to tell people that I have this disease because I dont want people to treat me differently or pitty me. I live a full happy life with this disease, even though it may slow me down I am still happy go lucky! I shared this with you all to get awareness of the disease out there and to share my experience with someone else who may have the same thing! I encourage you to ask questions about my disease and I will answer with my best ability!
