Join me and my buddy Francis for the front nine at Washington National Golf Club in early October! We teed off on a perfect day and I managed a 47 (9-hole score) — pretty solid play except for four doubles when my own mistakes got the better of me.
Washington National — designed by architect John Fought — features lush emerald fairways, white-sand bunkers and rugged native fescue transitions, described as “one of the Pacific Northwest’s true gems.”
The course plays to 7,304 yards from the back tees with a 75.3 rating and 145 slope.
In this video you’ll get to see:
Our tee shots and holes 1-9, course visuals and fairways at Washington National.
My putting highlights: I hit some good putts this nine!
The frustration factor: those four doubles due to dumb errors (which made the round trickier than it should have been).
Stay tuned for the back nine follow-up, where things get even more interesting. If you enjoy this kind of honest, fun golf video with commentary and camaraderie — hit like & subscribe!
