written 1967 by Justin Hayward for "Days of Future Passed" album'; FYI: during this video, at times I strum an F chord with just the D, G, and B strings. I keep the e string open (which makes it appear to be an Fmaj7 chord), but avoid touching it with the strum, otherwise it would sound like an Fmaj7 chord. Lately, I have been playing an F chord this way to avoid pain in my left hand. The more traditional way of playing an F chord of course uses 4 strings including the 1st. fret e string, as shown in the associated chord diagram. My apologies for any confusion in that regard.
