Jerry Hicks of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, prepares to repair a dry stone wall on his farm. He describes different kinds of dry stone walls and how they differ. He also shows how to de-construct a damaged portion of wall to prepare it for repair. Finally, during the dismantling, he discovers what caused the wall to fail in the first place. We will follow up with more videos showing Jerry rebuilding the wall.
