In light of events yesterday and the replies to my story, I thought I would just share how I feel. In these times of deep political divide, we must remember: our differences in opinion should NEVER cost us our humanity. No belief is worth the life of another. Let’s choose dialogue over destruction, unity over hate. In the shadow of Charlie Kirk’s senseless k*lling, we must face a painful truth: when political disagreement becomes a reason for violence, we lose so much more than any argument. The strength of a democracy is not in how fiercely we can oppose, but how respectfully we can disagree. Let what happened yesterday remind us that no opinion is worth taking a life. For the sake of our shared humanity, let’s reject hatred, embrace dialogue, and stand together beyond our political differences.
