About Rudranath

Rudranath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Garhwal Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand.
It sits high in the pristine forests and alpine meadows, enveloped by rhododendron dwarfs and snow-capped peaks.
In the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit, Rudranath is the fourth temple in the journey: Kedarnath → Tungnath → Rudranath → Madhyamaheshwar → Kalpeshwar.
The temple is believed to house a natural rock formation showing Shiva’s face (mukh), which, according to legend, is where Lord Shiva’s face appeared when He assumed the form of a bull and parts of His form manifested at different spots.

About Yogi Kalikananda Saraswati

Born in Kolkata and brought up at the Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home in Rahara, Yogi Kalikananda Saraswati embarked on his spiritual quest early. While pursuing Physics, he was drawn to Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, living at the Markandeya Sannyasa Ashram under saints like Dr. Vinaya Chaitanya Ji and Sw. Pranavananda Saraswati Ji.

He later met Sw. Chidananda Saraswati Ji, who introduced him to Sw. Sagarananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Aananda Akhada, Trayambakeshwar. After two years of intense spiritual training, he took Sannyasa Diksha at the Ujjain Mahakumbh in 2016. Since then, he has travelled across Bharat, spreading the ideals of Liberty, Fraternity, and Equality through Sanatana Dharma.
