Aphex Twin is one of my favorite artists of all time. I felt it fitting that the first song that I chose to do for this channel from him was the first song on the album that had the most influence on me as a growing musician. The album Druqks is a crazy listening journey to go on and I fully recommend listening to it as an entire piece of art from start to finish.

Jynweythek was originally written for a prepared player piano, hence the clever name which apparently translates to electronic machine in Cornish. It was a pretty straight forward process to making this piece but it slightly challenged my memory to play all three instruments with their slight variations bar to bar, as well as syncopations throughout the piece. One day I will attempt some crazier ones as I improve as a player and transcriber. Until then I hope you enjoy this one and let me know if you would like more of this type of stuff.
