In this video we show how to set the rear parking brake into service mode on a 2018-2024 Buick Enclave which is required when changing the rear brakes on modern GM vehicles. Unlike what the dealer says, it's not required to use an expensive scanner to retract the electronic parking brake. This process is the same for various other modern GM vehicles with the GM 3.6 engine including: Buick Envision and Lacrosse, Cadillac XTS and SRX, Chevy Impala, Traverse, Blazer and Equinox, and GMC Acadia and Terrain.
