Primus is currently on the road for their "Onward & Upward" Tour, and we caught up with the band's Les Claypool and tourmate Ty Segall ahead of the jaunt to discuss life on the road. This is Primus' first tour with new drummer John Hoffman, and Claypool opens up about replacing Tim “Herb” Alexander, the new band dynamic, and more. Segall and Claypool also discuss the age old "bus vs hotel" debate, share off-day activities (fishing and trying the local chowder), and setlist expectations.
