Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection (2001) - Beautiful Scenarios: Island Zoo

We're getting into the meat of this game.

The Island Zoo, better known as the "I Can't Change Land Height Zoo" has that restriction normally, and you can normally only build flat exhibits. Ten exhibits of 85 suitability or higher are needed in a 24 month span.

You're watching the Beautiful Scenarios series, so those don't apply.

For most of this map, I stay true to the original scenario. Then, when nearly done, I got a wickedly awesome idea: lots of aquatic exhibits in the little lakes in the center!

But that meant the cliffs had to look nice. And my GOODNESS, those cliffs took awhile. But the outcome was awesome.

I believe this is my best work yet in this game.

Unfortunately, the game engine really didn't like my aura, because it crashed with about 50 trees left to place before I was completely done! As the zoo was 99.999% done at that point, I decided that it would end there, and this zoo was already eight hours in length. About two and a half of those hours were lost, and I'll be buggered to go back and re-record them.

But still, this was the one I've had the most fun with.

Note: I had posted that the Savannah Zoo crashed on me, and OBS corrupted all the footage up to that point--so instead of the Savannah Zoo, our next one is the Mountain Zoo!

I know some folks have commented about that one. And it's coming along nicely--I'm about halfway done with it. So it will be a few weeks before that one shows up. Stay tuned for it!
