Most professional diving techniques were developed by Comex, a company founded and run by Henri-Germain Delauze. This diving pioneer also helped Rolex develop their professional dive watches in the Sea-Dweller, a watch that goes well beyond what the Submariner was ever meant to do. This partnership with Rolex is most famously shown in the watches labeled with both companies names on the dials.
