The fourth in a 4 video series examining the relationship between center of mass, rigging, and overhead lifting. Video four discusses the relationship between a load's center of gravity and the loading imposed on rigging and lifting equipment. The video also outlines a method for determining pick point / hook point locations so the lifting equipment is not overloaded. This tutorial is presented as a supplement to information presented in SAFM 4413 at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
