It's a new year and a new fishing season! If you want the perfect fishing kayak, then this video is for you. It does it all: paddle, pedal, bow mounted motors, stern mounted motors, it's got it all. Obviously, "perfect" is subjective. What I love, you may hate, so how did I come up with my assessment? I asked myself one question, "If I was a VERY serious fisherman, but I had a limited budget and needed to maximize every dollar, what would I purchase?" That's how I came up with my decision. This yak is versatile, stable, and reasonbly priced. You can buy this on a limited budget and just a paddle. Then as you have more money, you can add a pedal drive and when you can afford a motor, you don't need to buy another kayak. I love the XTR130, but it is made for only one thing - motors. It may be the very best kayak for motors, but you are not going to pedal the thing. I would love to see in the comments your vote for best fishing kayak of 2025.
