Filled all of the voids with Black epoxy from West Systems
Sand to 320 grit, water-popping the grain between grits.
During the video I used these things...
Odie's Oil original
Festool random orbital Ets125 5"
Norton non-woven pad
After this video, I did this...
Allowed the finish to sit for 40 minutes to 4 hours.
Then I buffed off all of the excess with a white rag on the sander
