This is a special one...available and up for your consideration at JLD Auto Group is this 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP Firehawk! 1 of only 9 G8 GXP Firehawks ever produced, this example is finished in 'Pacific Slate Metallic' Exterior Paint over an 'Onyx' Leather Interior. This is the only example of a G8 GXP Firehawk to be produced in this exterior color, thus making it a 1 of 1 specification. Also present as the only instance of optional equipment is the presence of the 6-speed Manual Transmission, making this vehicle even more desirable. With only 2k miles, this Firehawk presented in excellent condition is certainly a rare bird.

The G8 GXP Firehawk contrasts itself from the G8 GXP in that the Firehawk boasts a supercharged engine along with a few other mechanical and cosmetic alterations. Producing 550hp, the 6.2L Supercharged V8 mated with the 6-speed Manual Transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with sounds being enhanced via a Performance Exhaust System. Cold Air Induction and a Custom PCM Tune also help churn out the extra horsepower compared to the normal G8 GXP, and are further complemented by a Performance Suspension and Competition Brake Package helping to manage all the power. Cosmetically, the exterior of the car wears a black stripe, as well as Firehawk badging and 19" Aluminum Wheels. On the inside, Firehawk logos are embroidered within the headrests, and are supplemented by a passenger-side dashboard Firehawk badge. Furthermore, Bluetooth Phone Connectivity is included, along with heated front seats and Auto Dual Zone Climate Control. An 11-speaker Premium Audio System is present as well, as are Sport Metallic Foot Pedals and a Leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The 'GXP' variant of the G8, produced only for 2009, is considered the 'Performance' version of the model. Thus, the Firehawk version of the G8 GXP is at the very pinnacle of the G8 lineup, and is the top performer. This example with only 2k miles is immaculately maintained, and still retains its original Window Sticker, Warranty Books, Firehawk CD, and Key. Additionally, this example is accompanied by a copy of Firehawk, Fiercest of the Firebirds, a publication documenting Firehawk models through the years. The G8 GXP Firehawk is included within this publication, and intriguingly, this particular example was incorrectly logged within the production table tracking the exterior color/transmission specification of all G8 GXP Firehawks. This example, in the book, is recorded as having the Automatic Transmission, when in reality, this example is equipped with the 6-Speed Manual. Moreover, the book accompanying this vehicle is signed by the author, Mac Logan, who even writes to this original vehicle's owner that he acknowledges the error within the production table. As he states jokingly, he'll need to write a 2nd Edition!
