How One Man Lived 30 Years Alone in Alaska’s Wilderness

Bryan Callen has a dream of moving away from the big city and living a simpler life in nature which prompts Joe to talk about Richard Proenneke, a master craftsman who dedicated decades of his life living simply on the the land in Alaska. Richard lived alone for nearly thirty years in a remote log cabin that he constructed by hand near the shore of Twin Lakes, made most of his own tools to hunt, fish, cook and build other things and had supplies flown in at intervals however he was generally self sustaining.
