By taking a CD drive from an old unused computer and picking up a few electronic parts, it is possible to build a trap that let’s a mouse enter and once it approaches the peanut butter or cheese, the CD drive door simply closes behind them when an electronic garage door beam is triggered on the trap. Then the trap can be taken outside to release the mouse. That’s really all there is to it.
