In this adventure, we kayak through stunning coastal scenery and relax at the Broken Islands Lodge. We enjoyed cozy lodge life, ocean swims, dips in the wood fired hot tub, checking out campsites and spotting wildlife!

The Broken Group Islands are located within the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Tseshaht First Nation and the Hupacasath First Nation. The treaty rights of the Toquaht Nation and the Uchucklesaht Tribe within the boundaries of the national park reserve.

Benson Island, known as C’isaa, holds profound significance as the birthplace of the Tseshaht First Nation. This site, believed to have been continuously inhabited for over 5,000 years, was once home to more than 8,500 Tseshaht people and served as a cultural hub for their community.
