Using a very unique photographic process, Guillaume Zuili creates one of a kind prints.
He begins by cutting his negatives and taking only what interests him, taping them together to create a new negative.
"I go straight to the symbols and leave reality" - Guillaume Zuili.
His process is called "Chromoskedsic Sabattier," where there's a kind of solarization controlled by chemicals. He develops the print then exposes it to light, photographic fog develops and he freezes the effect with a chemical stabalizer. This method creates weird colors and textures. Zuili then pours a chemical activator that literally explodes the image on the print. This amazing process creates completely unique images every time from the same negative. No two photographs look the same.
You can see Guillaume's work in the gallery April 7 - May 6, in URBAN EXPOSURE.
