Exploring Somerset's Hidden Treasures: Metal Detecting On The Somerset Levels

Welcome to Treasure Tracers' metal detecting video channel. We are two amateur, but enthusiastic metal detectorists who love finding history. You are welcome to come along with us and learn some metal detecting tips while we go treasure hunting around the UK, but mostly in Somerset and Dorset. Hopefully, you will be inspired by our metal detecting videos, to have a go yourself. Metal detecting is an amazing hobby. There is a lot to learn, but you will find it so rewarding and fulfilling. And of course, think of all that vitamin D you will be getting!

Well, here we are in sunny Somerset, detecting on one our permissions - in fact the only permission we have that isn't underwater at the moment!

Yes, that's right, the Somerset Levels are flooded yet again, which is rather inconvenient when we want to detect. We are going to have to have a word with someone at the council and see if they can pump some of it out, so we can get some good filming in! Only joking! Well, we aren't really, because we pay enough council tax!

Anyway, enough of that. Join us over 3 days as we find some lovely bits and pieces and have a laugh on the way.
