Did you know that shredding and destuffing are actually completely normal canine behaviors?
The best way to manage these needs is to offer appropriate outlets.
When we can offer the right outlets for our dog's innate behaviors, they are much less likely to turn to inappropriate means (such as shredding pillows).
By the way - this applies not only to shredding and destuffing, but to ALL of your dog's needs. Meet their need through daily enrichment, physical and mental exercise ... and you will have a much happier and better behaved dog :)
PS: This video does not apply to dogs that are destructive due to separation anxiety. In this case, you need to address the underlying root cause (SA) - not just their shredding need.
