This event was hosted by the New England Region SCCA, and took place at Devens Airfield in Ayer, MA. The third points event of the season. The fastest raw time on this day was a 58.254, set in a 2017 miata in AST. The PAX winner was a 48.502 set in a 2019 GTI in G street.
The morning session was a wet surface, I was around 8 seconds off my best pace. It would dry up and drizzle again and again. The last rain fell during the lunch break, and the afternoon offered some dry running. I am looking to replace the Hoosier R7s based on tread depth, in fact the outside shoulder of my front left is showing cords, so I flipped it on the rim. They are size 245/40-17 on 8 inch wheels in front and 8.5s rear. Wanted to try a new camera angle and the sidewall deflection is awesome.
