"Just A Closer Walk With Thee" dates back to southern African-American churches of the nineteenth century. The author is unknown. In 1940 Composer Kenneth Morris heard someone singing it. He wrote down the words and music and published the song, adding a few lyrics of his own to provide more breadth. This version is sung by JoAnn Wright and Kate Shulz. The backing track was created with Band-In-A-Box.
