Paragliding VLOG - super fun higher wind session! Oct 6 2018

This was just a "demonstration" of what I'm up to for my visiting parents and their friends all the way from Australia...but mostly to stop my mom from worrying!
It could not have gone better...well except a good ridge soaring flight.
I've always thought that this tiny ridge (15 feet maybe? shallow slope) and rocky beach could do some lift in higher winds. Another couple of knots and I would have been off soaring.

This wind today wasn't as strong as a previous (funny) video where I get dragged, but perhaps it seemed stronger then as I was much less experienced so who knows. Of course I didn't have my anemometer (it sits in our truck) so could only guess really.

Everyone went home happy and even tho only 3.5 hours sleep I feel I did pretty OK!
