Acrylic Ink Techniques: Ready to fall in love with acrylic ink? In this week’s mixed media art tutorial, I’m sharing my favorite acrylic ink techniques to create soft, atmospheric layers that work beautifully as standalone art or as backgrounds for collage and other mixed media projects.

We’ll walk through two different experiments—using the same supplies on different papers—to show how dramatically your substrate can affect the outcome. One piece is on watercolor paper, the other on translucent paper, and the results are dreamy.
