Educators should be better aware of how multimodal strategies impact students’ abilities to understand, retain and recall information. As we know, everything, from the placement of images to the organisation of the content, conveys meaning, and our brains process it in a unique way. Therefore, perception and interpretation of the facts presented may differ among students.

The workshop covered these crucial methodological aspects, as well as offer some practical ideas on how medical and science education teachers can accelerate brain functions or strengthen neural connections made in students’ brains using a multisensory teaching style.
