Is fountain pen paper a scam? Tomoe River vs Pen+Gear (Walmart)

Is fountain pen friendly paper a scam? That's what one of my viewers claimed a long time ago, and it's a question I've been thinking about ever since. In this video, I attempt to answer that question by comparing my Tomoe River notebook from Lochby with a very similar Pen+Gear notebook from Walmart. Tomoe River is legendary in the fountain pen community for making thinner papers that handle ink extremely well. Pen+Gear, on the other hand, is known for being cheap. But is it worth paying up for the luxury notebook? Or is the $1 notebook good enough? Let's find out!
