On this trip through Mangalore roads we continue our journey to BC Road from Farangipete via NH 75. The highway in question connects Mangalore with Bangalore and Mysore.

Continuing the journey from Farangipete we proceed along NH 75 towards BC Road which is the short form for Bangalore Cross road. Along with connecting to Bangalore and Mysore, the highway also leads to Bantwal, Puttur, Uppinangady, Belthangady, Kalladka and other places.

I captured this ride a couple of months back during the monsoon season after the second lockdown. The rain apparently is still not stopping despite having reached mid November which is very singular.

The BC Road to Kaikamba road, which is to the LHS at BC Road while proceeding towards Bantwal is probably a short cut. It may be noted that while travelling along the road you will reach Kalpane from where if you proceed towards the left, it will take you to Neermarga via Merlapadav.

The Bangalore - Mangalore Highway is in a decent condition and during the ride a huge cloud never left my sight. I was wondering if it would rain and mess up the entire shoot but it was kind enough not to hamper my mission.

Along the route we reach Bhramarakotlu Toll Gate and a little ahead from the toll gate lies an accident prone area I did like to mention about. The situation is such that the four lane highway coming from either side abruptly converge into a two lane road which very haphazard especially during the night. The on coming traffic is surprised by the sudden lack of space and the exceeding chance for a head on collision.

This vlog gives information concerning prominent location along the Farangipete - BC Road highway along NH 75 including Farangipete, Kunjathakal Road, Pudu, Maripalla, Pudu Branch Post Office, Farangipete - Benjana Padavu Road, Thumbe, Ramal Katte, Bhramakotlu Service Road, Bantwalada Buntara Bhavana, Bhramarakotlu Toll Plaza, Accident Prone Zone at Bhramarakotlu, Talapady Jumma Masjid, Talapady BC Road, BC Road Bantwal, BC Road Private Bus Stand, Bantwal Beltangady Road, Bhramshri Narayana Guru Circle, Panemangaluru Old Bridge, Mangalore Mysore highway and Mangalore Bangalore Highway.
