ERASERHEADS AND A FAN | HULING EL BIMBO WORLD TOUR 2024

It's not a secret that I'm a big fan of this band. My friends can testify how this band contributed a lot to my childhood.

I've known Eheads even before this, but to be more specific, I really became a huge fan of this band since their first reunion concert in 2008. Fun fact: I wasn't even there. I only got to watch their performances on Youtube, thanks to those who uploaded; even smartphones did not have a good camera back then.
Reading some comments, that's when I got intrigued about their story—who they really were and how much they impacted the industry. It's like reading a book and enjoying the story. Their great songs are just bonuses; what they've had was charisma and an undeniably different aura when all together.

Back in 2008, and even after their Final Set concert in 2009, it seemed impossible that another reunion would even happen. What more an idea of being up close to them under the same roof?
Luckily for us, they got together from time to time. And thanks to time, acceptance, and love, they are loose, relaxed, and happy to be together now.

I first watched them all live during the Huling El Bimbo concert in 2022, the same night I proposed to my now-wife. And earlier this year, they performed at the UAAP season opening; I was there, and it's my second time watching them all live.

They say third time is the charm, right? Well, I believe that now!

From 2008, 16 years later, who would have thought that I would experience this with them? It's just great. I just can't believe it happened. :)
