A virtual walking tour on the beach of Oregon. We take you to the Oregon coast in this virtual travel walking video. We start out in the wind swept dunes above the pacific ocean in the pleasant sun. The air is cool off the water as we look inland and spy some Roosevelt Elk. We then descend to the beach were we inspect a beached whale carcass swarming with flies and the swallows that eat them. The wind has half buried the carcass, returning it to the cycle of life. As we walk southward along the beach, a foggy mist rolls in hiding the gentle waves and the rocky headland. It even collects on the lens and I have to wipe it clean several times. Cape Meares is a few miles down a narrow road from Tillamook and is a quiet long beach. Great for walking and just spending a pleasant summer day.
