This was the last takeoff that I would ever experience in my favorite plane. It was also the second to last ever passenger MD-88 flight to land in the United States. The flight number was also a special nod to the year that the first MD-88 was delivered to Delta. It was such a great flight, and I still remember it to this day! Long live the MADDOGS!
