Our sophomore album is here to capture the fleeting moments of ideas from our past 2 years making music. After creating Perfect Dawn, it's always hard to make a followup album that both successfully captures the same essence we built together as well as expanding our sound in a way that feels meaningful. The production of these 12 songs was much more free form in comparison to our first record, with an emphasis on bursts of fleeting moments.

The title "Ephemeral Nature, Digital Capture" spawned from looking at the original photo we sampled in the cover (credit to chloairy on Pinterest for allowing us to use the image). To me this picture perfectly embodied the human dichotomy of living in a fleeting, ephemeral world where people, creatures, and memories are short lived and our innate desire to remember and capture moments in the form of memories, pictures, and objects. This was a huge core in our Lunar Data Garden ethos when creating the project together, and this album is the pinpoint explanation of that.

Thank you to anyone and everyone that's enjoyed our work so far.  This album is a curated gift to you of Truman and I's love for Vaporwave, and we hope we deliver in adding something meaningful to the genre's message.
