This Puri is what I grew up eating up - mom used to make and fill containers. Since Eid Ul Adha is around the corner some households have started preparing snacks. This snack is light, crispy and so tasty.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour (measuring cup)
2 tbsp coarse Sooji (semolina)
1 tbsp custard powder
1 & 1/2 tsp salt (reduce to 1 tsp if you like less salt)
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp coarse freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp cumin seeds
6 tbsp warm ghee (not butter) - check my link on how I make home made ghee
3/4 cup water
