I step down the drill machine speed by using the sprockets and chain to increase the torque for this homemade lathe machine. This homemade mini lathe is very useful for metalworking workshop. This diy homemade lathe machine produces very high quality finishing on the metals. Mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass, nylon, plastic all these materials can be used in this homemade metal lathe.
