Ygraine ~ The Death of Tintagiles ~ Death of Her Brother 2016

I have taken the monologues of Ygraine from the play by Maurice Maeterlink and created - alongside some wonderful film artists - a short film to honour this incredible character and play.

All shot beautifully by Sven Skatun and Tim Flood, my characterisation was directed by Steve Coomber of Dandy Trap based in Moray, Scotland.

The soundscape by Dave Martin was originally used for a touring production of Tintagiles back in 2013 and features my vocals on the traditional lament Stretched on Your Grave.

Dandy Trap are currently creating a new show from a re-imagination of The Death of Tintagiles, entitled Death of Her Brother, which will be touring locally before a two week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016 starring Rose Oke Millett, Charis Edward Wells and Steve Coomber.
