Representing as a Woman | Episode 5 with Clr Dale Piercey

We are thrilled to bring to you the Australian Local Government Women's Association WA branch's new exciting video series- 'Representing as a Woman'.

In Episode Five, we hear from the Australian Local Government Women's Association WA Committee Member, Clr Dale Piercey, on why she ran for Council (Shire of Esperance), what she enjoys about being a Councillor and a bit about her campaign when she set out for Council election in 2017.

The Representing as a Woman series aims to encourage more women to run for Local Government by hearing from current female Elected Members about their experiences as sitting members for the Councils/ Shires.

We will bring you views from young and old, metro and regional councils and would love to hear your thoughts on the series and if there are any other questions you would like answered about being a Councillor in general, or serving as a female Councillor specifically.
