ITN News interview with Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, the leader of Libya, on the allegation that he was a supporter of terrorism.
He denied giving sanctuary to Carlos The Jackal but expressed support for the struggle for freedom by groups including the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA).
He criticised the West for being against the rights of the Palestinian people who were "right" to take up arms.
