When you move abroad, you don’t just change your address — you change who you are.

As Richard from French Connections HCB said in our recent chat:

“You’ll never be the same person. You’ll be a different character in another language (...)’’

For many expats, this comes as a shock and is the hardest truth to accept — but it can be freeing once you do.

Because when you start over in a new country, you don’t just learn new words… you learn a new version of yourself.
